About Us

One Club. One Team. All In.

Highfields & Districts Railway Bulldogs Cricket Club is more than just a place to play cricket — we’re a proud, welcoming community with a passion for the game and a commitment to creating a supportive environment for players of all ages and backgrounds.

Founded in 1917 and proudly known as the “Railway Bulldogs,” our club has a rich history of success and a strong reputation throughout the Toowoomba Cricket Association. Since our rise to premiership glory in the 1961/62 season, we’ve gone on to win more than 50 championships across all grades.

Today, HDRCC is home to more than 250 players and families. We cater for:

  • Blasters (ages 5–10)

  • Juniors (ages 10–16)

  • Senior Men’s teams (A Grade through to social grades)

  • Women’s cricket (welcoming all levels of experience)

We’re based at Highfields Sports Park, one of the region’s premier sporting venues, with turf wickets, training nets, a modern clubhouse and great facilities for spectators and families. Our club is proudly volunteer-run, backed by passionate coaches, committed parents, and generous local sponsors who believe in giving back to the community.

Whether you’re taking your first swing with a plastic bat or competing for a premiership flag, there’s a place for you at HDRCC.
